Capacity Building for Improving Sustainable Health Outcomes
Sustainable improvements to health outcomes depend on the ability of local systems and
stakeholders that comprise individuals, communities, civil society, governments, and the
private sector – to provide appropriate health care and services. Developing capacities is
at the core of JSIPL’s work.
By recognizing that stakeholders exist within a dynamic
system and that there are diverse capacities at various levels within that system, the
Organization provides them targeted support.
JSIPL considers training as just one of
the capacity building techniques, and therefore, conceptualises a 360 degree approach to
capacity building consisting of multiple, mutually reinforcing techniques.
