The Immunization Technical Support Unit (ITSU) provides techno-managerial support to the Immunization Division of MoHFW for scaling up the Universal Immunization Program and ensures quality immunization services. It also collaborates with immunization partners to accelerate progress in achieving 90% full immunization coverage.
The USAID-funded MOMENTUM Routine Immunization Transformation and Equity (M-RITE) project assist the government in enhancing the demand and uptake of COVID-19 vaccination in 18 states covering nearly 60% of the country’s total population.
The Tuberculosis Implementation Framework Agreement (TIFA) provides fixed-term grants to organizations to accelerate the country’s progress toward TB eradication.
The Rapid Immunization Skill Enhancement (RISE) is the first-of-its-kind program that provides interactive, continuous, and adaptable knowledge and skills to meet the needs of various levels of health personnel in India, including program managers and medical officers, health workers, and mobilizers.
The Urban immunization project ensures sustained improvement in urban immunization using technical support inputs such as studies, training, and development of specialized materials that further the government’s goal of full immunization coverage.
New vaccine roll-out initiatives related to Rotavirus vaccine (RCV) and Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) demonstrate the government’s trust in JSIPL. Together they work to build health system capacities using innovative training solutions and other technical support initiatives.
The Systems Approach for Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health, focusing on Vulnerable Geographies (SAMVEG) project, provides strategic technical assistance in Health Market Systems and Private Sector Engagement focusing on a health market development approach.
