Supporting the Fight Against Preventable Diseases by Integrating Social Determinants of Health

JSIPL has successfully integrated WASH interventions with primary health care services to improve health of vulnerable sub-population. Integrating hygiene promotion with new vaccine roll-outs like rotavirus and pneumococcal vaccines is helping position WASH as an essential intervention in the overall health landscape and in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Adolescent Nutrition, Sanitation & Health (ANSH) Project

The Adolescent Nutrition, Sanitation & Health (ANSH) Project’s end goals were well aligned with the government’s Poshan Abhiyan objectives that focused on reaching services to adolescents in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, and Madhya Pradesh through the implementation period of 2018 to 2020. WASH was an integral part of this project.
